The Forum

Southend on Sea

The Forum, opposite our Southend Campus, is an ultra-modern library and learning zone that houses loanable college books, public library books, study spaces, WiFi access, and computers.

The 3rd floor is home to a teaching & study space specifically for our Higher Education students, with access to college network computers and a whole range of resources. A dedicated Higher Education Resources Facilitator, based in the space full-time, is on hand to provide one-to-one guidance and support with all aspects of Higher Education written work and research, as well as conduct group workshops on a range of study skills.

University students also benefit from a dedicated library portal providing access to scholarly literature.

Parking

There is a public car park under the Luker Road building (entrance in Elmer Approach), which is open weekdays from 07:00 to 22:00 and on Saturdays from 07:00 to 18:00. University Square MSCP car park on College Way (opposite Sainsbury’s) is open for 24hr parking. There are also various council-run short-stay public car parks in Central Southend.
