Accessibility Statement
At South Essex College we constantly strive to make our services as accessible as possible and our website is no exception.
Built to meet government requirements by being fully W3C compliant, our website also includes additional functionality provided by Recite Me enabling all users to fully customise their experience in a way that best supports their needs.
How do I access the Recite Me toolbar?
You can open the Recite Me toolbar by clicking on the accessibility icon found in the top right corner on every page.
After you open Recite Me you will have access to a range of different options for customising how the website looks and how you can access the content.

Why it's important
According to government statistics one in five people have a disability including those with common conditions like sight loss and dyslexia. Creating an accessible website is important in removing the barriers some may face.
