New Canvey taster courses for free

South Essex College is launching a new range of FREE taster courses at their Canvey campus.

The week long programme will run from 27-31 January, at the college’s site in Meppel Avenue.

Options on offer are varied and include hair and beauty sessions, maths and English for adults, IT basics including Microsoft Word and Excel, counselling and accounting.

There is no need to book on the sessions, interested individuals can just turn up and take part for free.

Nicki Kelly, Assistant Principal Curriculum and Quality, said: “Have you ever wanted to broaden your horizons and learn something new, but you’re not sure where to start? Well the college can help. We’ve arranged a whole week of taster sessions for adult learners covering a wide range of subjects and they are completely free!”
